Student Activities

The College of New Rochelle is a tight-knit community in which students excel in and out of the classroom. We offer plenty of opportunities to explore your interests, express your skills and talents, and forge new connections.

CNR and the Office of Student Activities is committed to creating an environment at allows for a well-rounded campus experience.

We encourage you to join our many student clubs and organizations — or start your own if you see a niche that needs to be filled. Student government offers opportunities to have a significant voice in the life of the College.

Love to sing or play an instrument? Join our music ensembles. Know how to turn a phrase? Write for our student publications, and earn a scholarship while doing it.

Students of an athletic bent can try out for our NCAA Division III sports teams, which recently joined the Eastern College Athletic Conference, the largest in the nation; or participate on the recreational and intramural level.

In addition to big annual events such as Family Weekend and the always anticipated Strawberry Festival, students can also look forward to fun trips and events organized by Student Activities: themed dance parties, Six Flags, horseback riding, Yankees games, Broadway shows, and so much more. Check out Student Activities on Facebook to see what they've been up to.
