Dr. Michael Anker Opens Fall Lecture Series at Rosa Parks Campus

Nursing Students Receive White Coats as New Tradition Begins at CNR

October 4, 2018

A new tradition began at CNR on Monday, October 1, as more than 100 nursing students participated in the College’s first White Coat Ceremony. The ceremony, which was initiated in 1993 by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation, is now held at hundreds of schools throughout the country to mark the start of clinical practice. In addition to reciting the oath to compassionate patient care, students are officially “cloaked” in the iconic white coat that signifies their status as healthcare professionals.

SNHP Sophomore Gains Hands-on Experience in Race Medicine Volunteering During Triathlon

Senior basketball player Aaliyah Fields had the unique opportunity this summer to attend the 2018 NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis, Indiana, the first CNR athlete in program history to do so. The purpose of the conference is to expose NCAA athletes to career opportunities within the athletic world.
